Empowering Lives, Enriching Individuals & Families

Children's Rescue Fund empowers individuals and families experiencing homelessness to help them become independent and self-sufficient for future generations to come.

Who Are We

Our core purpose is to effectively assess, support and ensure sustainable permanent housing transition for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to protect the health and safety of our clients by partnering with community resources as part of a continuum of care to meet the individual and family's medical, educational and employment needs.

In 1992, we joined the fight against homelessness with our flagship site Icahn House.

In 2004, CRF House East was launched.

CRF Cluster Model Program opened in 2007.

In 2020, we continue to to expand with

CRF Hotels.

“Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life.”

Our Impact

"To All Staff at Children’s Rescue Fund, From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for making my stay a pleasant one. Many do not know how powerful smiles, understanding and kind gestures are. This has been an extremely painful year for me, so I expected something much different upon my arrival. Again, I thank you all for making my stay and my daughter’s stay a pleasant one, which I know is not easy to do when working in social service."
