Who We Are

Our core purpose is to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness with our critical services, empowering them to become independent. We support people become self-sufficient, motivated, and productive in obtaining permanent housing and ensuring their children’s education and healthcare.

Our Mission

We support individuals and families to long-term stability and partner with them and others to provide housing, access to critical services, education, and skills.

Our History

Established and operating since 1992, the Children's Rescue Fund continues to support thousands of individuals and families to transition from homelessness to stable independent housing. We are dedicated to restoring dignity, self esteem and independence, so that both families and our community as a whole are strengthened.

In 1992, we joined the fight against homelessness, opening our flagship site Icahn House.

In 2004, CRF House East launched.

CRF Cluster Model Program opened in 2007.

In 2020, we continued to expand with

CRF Hotels.
